‘Farm Frenzy Winners,’ Don’t Let The Hose Near Your Fingers

So I stumbled across a pretty funny sign … “Don’t feed your fingers to the horses.”

And that reminded me to tell you guys who the winners were for the 2008 N.C. State Fair Farm Animal Frenzy. Ok, wait for it. Wait for it.

They were Murial, the Dairy Queen, Javier at the Fair and Ms. Moo.

Murial was a cow, decorated by Apex High School. She took home first place, earning the $1,000 grand prize. Javier, a chicken given his cool look by Fuquay-Varina High School, won second place and $750.

Ms. Moo, decorated by Jesse O. Sanderson High School $500. Awesome!

Judges this year also selected Corny Carney Carl by Wakefield High School and Playin’ Hookie by Garner Magnet School.
