Bring your tissues to watch the 82nd Airborne Chorus…
… because they’ll bring tears to your eyes. Not only do they sing beautifully, but they’re in uniform when they do it. And when your country’s at war and you know half the people watching have family and friends overseas fighting right now… well you’d have to be the tin man to make it through a performance without at least getting a little choked up. Candice Combs and I live streamed the noon show at the Fair today and it was exceptional.
The guys do a nice combination of patriotic songs (”God Bless America”, “American Soldier”) that tug at your heartstrings, and oldies that are just plain fun to listen to (”My Girl”, “Rockin’ Robin). North Carolina can be proud that the 82nd hails from our very own Fort Bragg! Learn more about them right here…
