Local BMX Stunt Rider ‘Lives The Dream’

Durham native Keith King says he always had dreams of flying.The full-time BMX bike stunt rider does just that now, as he owns and operates the King Action Sports Stunt Show, which has performed for the last 10 years at the N.C. State Fair.

“As long as you have fun, there’s no reason to quit,” says the Campbell University graduate.

King, 38,  has performed across the country, and at NASCAR and NFL football events. You can see him and other stunt riders perform in the Grandstand through Thursday at noon, 3 p.m., 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. Show times for Friday are 11 a.m., 2 p.m., 4 p.m. and 6 p.m.

On Saturday, they ride at 11 a.m., 1 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. and Sunday at 11 a.m., 1 p.m. and 6 p.m.
